Ballard Locks

Something a little different – and very urban, is our Ballard Locks trip!  Paddle from Golden Gardens, along Shilshole Bay or Puget Sound, through the locks and up to Salmon Bay – home of the Seattle fishing fleet.  We adjust the length of this trip based on the endurance of our trip members, and may venture as far as Lake Union.  It’s a very fun, safe and pleasant paddle, with lots to see – views of downtown Seattle, the Ballard fishing fleet, sailboats and magnificent yachts.
